A suspicious Package or your Safe MLS Token?
December 18th, 2007 Categories: MLS and IDX
If you receive a suspicious package in the mail sometime between today and the next couple weeks don’t be alarmed. It’s just your new SAFE MLS Token provided my MRIS.
In an effort to tighten security and protect the integrity of the information our Multiple List System provides, the SAFE MLS secure login process is now being implemented. Tokens are beginning to ship today.
Here are a couple things you can do to make sure you get your Secure Login Token.
- Make sure MRIS has your right email address. Have you been receiving emails from them recently?
- Log in to MRIS and check your account settings. Is all of your contact information correct?
- If you need support check out the MRIS Support Page.
Temporary Unavailability Scheduled for MRIS System at 11 PM on 12/18
Single Sign On capability and new functionality, including Secure Login, will be implemented on the evening of Tuesday, December 18, beginning at 11 p.m. During the implementation, the following portions of the MRIS system will be temporarily unavailable:
- Matrix
- Mris.com
- Keystone
- Keystone Photo Upload
- Lingo
- Titan
The implementation is expected to take 4 hours.
I would like to hear comments on your experience or opinion on the new security measures. It may take some getting used to but in the long run I think it will enhance the value of the data we rely upon as real estate agents.
